Are injections acne bad for you? Did they leave scars?

I'm 18 and I went 2 my dermatologist and had two buttons injected W. cortisone shots today … 1 of them down a lot but the other is still very painful and inflamed … I have heard many speculations on how cortizone shots cause scars or pimples … Is this true? A person who has obtained the plans b4 answers please? Thank you very much!
