Suddenly, the biggest offensive Catcher has emerged?
It has been more buzz and media attention surrounding his Joe Mauer short career I've seen one player in attracting a whole. Where was all this attention when Mike Piazza was to become the largest recipient offensive ever? Is there a reason why the achievements are not Mauer from Piazza regularly? Is this due to the fact that the so-called Piazza had back acne, as has been cited by journalists who wanted to NY to slander his name or that Reggie Jefferson himself accused of using steroids, although he never failed a test and was not mentioned in the Mitchell report?
I think I understand the point of view the press when it comes to making or breaking the image of the party. Mauer is a new beginning, the steroid "post" era of baseball. The media took the issue of steroids and he has played at its maximum. It was all about traffic, ratings and money course. It seems that instead, somehow, shape or form, has always been the talk of the media, outside the lines. Everything from the use Steroid alleged sexual preferences. Totally unfair, of course, but again, it sold papers. It became more sensational as responsible journalism. But the holier "than thou" media is trying to correct the problem, they were partly responsible. Mauer became their "guy". It will save baseball from itself in this post-steroids! That's what they hope. Piazza legacy is secure. Although it has not been the best defensive catchers ever to play the game, which is certainly True, it was probably the greatest offensive catcher. As for Mauer, the comparison is futile. Piazza has hit the circuit, Mauer occasionally hits home runs. If you look at the two players through the first six seasons of their career, you will find this issue are much more impressive Piazza. Compare now after Joe retires. It is the only fair way to do it. As Jefferson and the "rush decision" of the Mitchell report, I am absolutely not interested! Will those chemically enhanced their career and have an impact HOF, pay the ultimate price for their dishonesty. They will be never outside, looking in. Piazza is one Hofer, there is no doubt, and one day may well be Mauer. I hope so.

Glamorama (Vintage Contemporaries) $5.67 Glamorama is a satirical mass-murder opus more ambitious than Bret Easton Ellis’s 1990 American Psycho. It starts as a spritz-of-consciousness romp about kid-club entrepreneur Victor Ward, “the It boy of the moment,” an actor-model up for Flatliners II. Ellis has perfect pitch for glam-speak, and he gives nightlife the fizz, pace, and shimmer it lacks in drab reality. Anyone could cite the … |
