Does apple cider vinegar aid in diminishing normal scars (with the exception of acne scars)?

I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar could help fade away acne scars. Is it possible that apple cider vinegar could also diminish normal scars? I’ve got a scar on my leg, and it’s been 6 months now. I want to try putting apple cider vinegar on it… just wondering if anyone’s tried it and if it’s effective.

Take a capsule of Vitamin E and put it right on the scar before bed. You can do this with facial acne scars too.

I have never heard of Apple Cider Vinegar and fear that the astringent properties will make the scars worse. You can try it but after you might find the Vitamin E is great.
