my face hurts really bad?

I have acne scars, too, but I do. So I went to the dermatologist and she given Benzac AC Wash, and Tretinoin Cream, after using it for 3 days, my face was pure red, and my face starts to flake. It looks so disgusting, I'm so sad, and did not go public. Is this normal, and it will go away? This is my routine. I put the Wash Benzac AC on in the morning, then a moisturizer. Then I put on tretinoin cream before bed. Please help someone?

Yes this is normal and what is assumed to occur. The peels get rid of acne and acne scars. Do not really red way, you may be allergic or use too. Just a thin layer goes a LONG way. Also moisturize several times a day if you can, it will help.
